1. A Book For Midwives, Klein, 1995 Hesperian Foundation - best how to do it going, includes tons of info on prenatal care, post delivery care, epis., etc. A must have.
2. Childbirth & Obstetric Technique, Al-Azzawi, 1990 Mosby-Wolfe - great complement to above with many excellent color pictures of delivery, epis. repair, infant evaluation, c-section. Not detailed enough to use by itself but perfect with above.
