View Full Version : Authors?
Friends: I am interested in citing some of the material in "Remote, Wilderness and Austere Medicine: An Introduction, 2nd ed." However, I can't use the Internet names listed on the acknowlegements page--if indeed these were the authors.
Unless it's a deep secret, I'd appreciate any help with this.
Thanks!

The handles listed as the authors are indeed in all instances the authors. The handles were chosen as being familiar to the members and visitors to the board.
Feel free to drop me a PM and I'll help any way I can.

Vic and I are in communication. I'll be contacting the other authors later. It's all good. :D:

Vic, I have no problem with you referencing the books (Im BCE - Main author and editor). But as a practicing Emergency Physician, some of my views on preparedness / survivalism and medical care after disasters, particularly global level disasters are probably considered fringe and my partners probably wouldnt consider it good for business. For me its just another type of insurance in my life - but I know some colleagues would see it as a sign of mental illness :D: So happy to be quoted under a pseudonym, but not my real name or details. Could you let me know the context of the material you are interested in.
cheers
Craig

Don't really think you will be using any cites from Chapter 8, but feel free to do so in any event.
