Checking to see if there is interest in organizing a group buy on the book Expedition Home: Journey to Safety From Pandemic Influenza by Dr. Skip Hofstrand. The book was published in 2006 in response to the avian flu scare by a small special interest publishing company. The cover price then was $14.95 plus shipping. Perhaps we can get the cost per book - delivered - down to list price or even less? Generally takes dozens of orders placed to one central point with distribution from there at the least costly rate (is there such a thing any more?).

but since you mention group buys on books again, probably the most cost effective way to do it is to do several book offers at once. Having more than one book in that outbound package would save money.

Some sort of supplies would work too - but I'm not sure if you would get library rate that way.

Let me see if I can generate some interest on my end and maybe scrounge up some more pennies for this.

I believe that we can get the price down to around $16/each postage paid. Perhaps a bit less, won't know until we find out what the shipping to a central point costs. The best price break is for 21+ copies in one purchase. Call me silly but I believe we can do that easily. I was hoping they'd offer an additional discount for, say 50 or 100 copies.
