tracked down a copy of this book, but only had a short time w/ it. Overall, I was kinda disapointed. Very short on "how to", very long on cultural aspects of working w/ the aboriginal community. It had a really good +/- discussion on ART in one chapter and the biblio points to more usefull refs.

overall, I'd give this book a "pass on it", and go w/ "where there is no dentist" as well as the issue of the journal that has a bunch of articals on ART. The part of a chapter in the 3rd edition of Wilderness Medicine is also very good. The 4th edition (current) has a lot of info cut from it. (in general - the third edition is better than the 4th, though there are some new improvs in the 4th...)

have some refs to other books that are like "where there is no dentist", but have not tracked them down yet.
