how do you convert between french and metric sizes? anyone have a chart they could post?

Im sure there is, but Ive always just adopted the "will that bit of pipe fit in that hole" approach - it seems to work !

1mm = 3 in French units (10mm = 30 Fr)

though that begs the obvious question: do you round up or down to convert metric to french? ie: metric sizes are in whole and half sizes - 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, etc. while french are allways whole numbers.

sequences:

rounding up:
9, 11, 12, 14, 15, etc.

rounding down:
9, 10, 12, 13, 15, etc.

French numbers can be in fractions as well.

Our Introducer sheathes come in 7.5, 8.0, 8.5 & 9.0 french.
