    RR,
I finally got to down it! I do have some info on the first story on the fiction part. I remember it from American Survival Guide 1980's. I have a copy in my hard files at my retreat. I can get the authors name if you want it.

Oh, I do enjoy the rest of it too!

Post so ??WHERE?? can I order a print copy of this from?

K, I read thru all the posts, sounds like good work...this is ava and you guys are already talking about the 3rd edition?? LOL

and... somewhere in the various posts, someone mentioned a chapter of "101 uses for benadryl" ROFL...now THAT I would love to hear about...

yanno...maybe we should write a humorous book along those lines.... all the weird and whacky stuff we know from the field and have done, thought about, or will never admit to...

anyway... its been a while since I was here... will try not to lose all my bookmarks etc this go round...

and thanks in advance for where to get this book

We got a review and free mirror!

The best book on Survival Medicine I have ever seen is Survival and Austere Medicine (click here) , a 213 page .pdf download from my server. Full credit for finding this wonderful ebook goes to Australian Survivalist Online. The .pdf download of the original 1997 version of this book is available from AUSurvivalist...I merely offer a mirror web site for downloading. This book is far too valuable to be stored on a computer: remember what happens to computers when hit by an EMP blast?

A printed copy of this book should be in EVERY home for hard times! You should at the least download and print this book, but that would still leave you with an unbound, ink jet version. An updated, 191 page, printed and bound copy of this book is offered at cost only, no royalties collected by the authors, for $13.60 plus $4.00 S&H. The book can be ordered online from http://www.cafepress.com/austeremed . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Hey tangent, tell that guy with the mirror site that download is not the 1997 original, it's the NEW updated version.

Just beng curious, but is there anyway to know how many CafePress has printed up and/or how many downloads have happened? How long will CafePress keep the CD in stock for printing anyway? I need to get busy and order a bunch more one of these days.

In terms of downloads the sites I can monitor are > 1000 in total - I have given up checking.
